This mod is opted in to receive donation points there are already some mods that allow you to lock doors but i implemented my own one without any spells lesser powers or equipable items.

My request is simple a mod that allows you to lock doors if you have the key for it. 1 with this mod you can obtain a lesser power named lock door after you load a save you can lock door or chest with this power if you have correct key. 2 when you build hearthfire houses door you will get the corresponding key to lakeview manor winstard manor or heljarchen hall if you have built the doors corresponding key will add to your inventory automatically when you load game. See i find it enoying that when i become archmage my private quarters suddenly becomes open to everyone.

In contrast in this mod you must have a key in your inventory. But i find them a bit cheaty since you can lock any object using a spell or even a lockpick. You ll need to be sneaking and you ll need at least one lockpick in your inventory then approach any door and you get the option to lock it or open it as normal. Also any fool can just walk into my house and steal a fortune in magic artifacts daedric weapons things like ebony i keep around.

Equippable key ring allows you to lock doors if you have the key. The perk branches off from locksmith sss and has a requirement of 80 lockpicking and of course locksmith. In other words it has been designed to feel more native. Also allows craftable padlocks to lock unlock containers and makes the skeleton key unlock any door container or display case once per day.
